What's the play about?
Love' Labour's Lost is one of Shakespeare's earliest comedies. Find out more about the plot and the comedy here.
Is there Parking?
There is parking in the surrounding residential roads, with a flat walk to the venue. There is a drop off space at the church venue for those with mobility issues. (Find the venue on Google Maps)
Is there a bar?
Yep, The Bard's Bar will be open for service! Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.
Is the venue accessible?
The venue is accessible. The performance is on grass, and access to it is flat.
However, the toilets are not fully wheelchair-accessible so some mobility will be required
Should I bring my own seat?
We're outdoors. Please bring your own seat, or a blanket, and a picnic!
What about the weather?
We will perform whatever the weather, apart from a deluge! So please come suitably attired. It is August, so let's keep our fingers crossed.....
Is there a minimum age for children?
Not really, except to say that Shakespeare can be quite 'adult' in his comedy. In his days the plays were specifically for such an audience. So, we make a suggestion of 11+.
Are there toilets?
Yes there are!
